SOx 404 and COSO
All surveys are based on SOx 404, COSO internal control over internal reporting for small public companies, and our own experience. This can be the basis fr your organizations "In control statement".
Corporate Update is an analysis method using Surveys in the cloud.
Our surveys tests the internal control (control and controls) on financial reporting and the compentence of the organization to use the controls effectivly.
COSO -SOx 404 - Corporate governance
The format is based on COSO and SOx 404 and developed in the US. COSO has delivered in cooperation with PWC the "Control Framework Implementation to Support SOX 404 Compliance Efforts".
The COSO document is prepared in 2006, updated
in 2009 and is called "Internal control over Financial
Reporting -Guidance for smaller public companies" and you can buy
it from AICPA. 
This COSO method and step by step approach is the basis for Corporate Update and allow auditors to understand it easily. The cIRCle is the guidance for our GRC survey called Corporate update.

Way of working
- You will receive 2 links for 2 separate email addresses.(i.e. CEO /CFO or CFO/ Controller)
- The GRC Survey will be completed independently via internet.
- After completion you see yor score online
The answers will be compared and related to the steps in the COSO "Internal control" process and will deliver an overall "In Control"score" in a report with recommendations.
Based on SOx and other loca; Corporate Governance ruling that recommend the "in control certificate" signed by CEO and CFO.
